Within this striking medieval cape lurks a hidden dragon, visible only at an angle. The cape is worked sideways, from right to left, then turned and the stitches are picked up along the top to work the neckline from the cape upwards. There are no armholes and the front is secured with a frog. Illusion knitting or shadow knitting is surprisingly easy to do. Pattern is charted with special instructions and includes schematic.
