Inspired by Frank Gehry’s scale-like fish sculpture in Barcelona, the Catalonia Cardigan uses knitting in the row below to create a fabric that mimics the steel structure. The yarn crosses gently between rows to re-create the look of the intersecting lines of Gehry’s art, in a fabric that stretches and moves with you.  This seamless cardigan is worked on one piece from the bottom up, with short row set-in sleeves worked from the top down and fun button loops (with a link to a step-by-step tutorial).
